Master key systems, explained
A master key system lets each person carry one key that opens only the doors they need. Staff keys open their own areas, a manager's sub-master opens a department, and the master opens everything. When someone leaves, you rekey a small part of the system instead of the whole building. Pair it with a restricted keyway and keys can't be copied at a hardware store without authorization.
